a sampling of the late arrivals to our store. Items are
being added regularly... almost daily, so check back often! To jump right to

Beginning on the left is a magnificent 1960's apron,
potholder, towel and washcloth set - all unused and in
excellent condition. What a great retro kitchen
set! Many more aprons found in our
Vintage Aprons department. In the middle is
vintage fabric sporting a classic period pattern of
multi-colored stripes... this one is being sold by the
half yard. Just one of many recently added to our
Vintage Fabric, Prints department. On the
right is a lovely floral feed sack - a great quilting
print! Lots to choose from in our
Vintage Feed Sacks department.

On the left is a rare
find... a vintage New Mexico tablecloth from the 1950's.
More print tablecloths can be found in our
Vintage Table Linens department... with napkins,
too! Next is a rayon fabric with a great period
print. We do have several different prints
available in our
Vintage Fabric-Rayon and Rayon Blends department.
Next is a lovely vintage sewing pattern for a 1940's
dress or housecoat. Fashion had some nice lines
back then! Many more can be found in our
1940's Sewing Patterns department. Finally, we have
a pretty organdy plisse fabric with large purple and
white flowers. This can be found in our
Vintage Fabric-Sheers and Semi-Sheers department.

May 3rd, 2008 Update

On the left is a cute vintage bib apron made from fabric
with big pink blossoms. Trimmed in pink, this is a
real treat! Just one of many aprons Steph has
added to our
Vintage Aprons department. In the middle is a
piece of sheet music from 1913, titled "Valse Maurice",
or "Maurice Waltz". On the cover is Maurice and
Florence Walton, the dancers whom the music was written
for. This title is just one of many that have been
added recently to our
Vintage Sheet Music departments. On the right
is one of the patterns recently added to our
1950's Women's Sewing Patterns department.
This is an unused (or uncut) 1950's Dinner Dress with a
pleated bodice. Great form!
Starting the second row is
another sewing pattern recently added. This one is
for a 1930's Girls' Pleated Skirt & Swagger Coat
and has not been used. Lots of additions to our
sewing pattern categories lately. In the middle is
a vintage magazine titled Today's Housewife from
1919. It's a title that we don't come across very
often, and this issue sports a nice patriotic cover and
an advertisement with very early artwork by Norman Rockwell.
More magazines like this can be found in our
Vintage Women's Magazines department. Finally,
yet another vintage apron recently added, this one being
a vintage feed sack bib apron, with a great pink and
blue geometric & floral print.

April 13th, 2008 Update

Beginning this update on the top left (the first two
photos), we have a magnificent vintage apron with
elaborate drawnwork. This one is a must-see!
Just one of many recent additions in our
vintage aprons department. Next is a vivid novelty
feed sack with indian motif. Great themed sack!
Many more in our
vintage feed sacks department. On the right is
the first of many sheet music titles recently added to
the
1920's Sheet Music department. Titled I'm
Gonna Charleston Back To Charleston and has a
classic 1920's look.
Beginning the middle row is a bold
"yin-yang" style feed sack. A fabulous quilt
print! In the middle is a sewing pattern for an
afternoon or evening dress - just one of the many added
in our
1950's Women's Sewing Patterns department. On
the right is another novelty feed sack - this print is
of birds sitting on a green brick wall. Numerous
feed sacks have been added, and several novelty prints
as well. Many more can be found in our
Vintage Feed Sacks department.

On the last row we start
off with another vintage bib apron - this is a classic
apron style with cute pink rosebuds. A wonderful
array of aprons recently added to our
vintage aprons department. Next is our last
highlight in the
vintage feed sacks department. This sack
sporting a novelty print of cowboys, horses and cattle.
A whimsical print! Next we have a scarce title
added to our
1900's Sheet Music department - Across The Hot Sands
- with dual copyrights of 1903 and 1907. Great
artwork! Rounding up this edition of our
update is an elegant postcard made in Germany and
postmarked 1910, it's adorned by a heart of violets and
shamrocks. Numerous postcards recently added - you

March 17th, 2008 Update
This update may seem a bit small, but numerous items
have been added lately. Beginning on the top left
is a wonderful antique fabric, one of many added in our
Vintage Fabric (Cottons, Prints) Department.
Great, antique color shades on this plaid!
Stephani has also been busy adding numerous craft and
needlework booklets. The book seen in the middle
above is an old book on using decorative crochet on
pillow cases. These goodies can be found in our
Needlework & Craft Patterns department. On the
left is just a highlight of the many Saturday Evening
Post issues added recently. This particular issue
from 1947 has a great cover illustration of a "painter's
worst nightmare", by Stevan Dohanos - she just can't
decide on the color! We have a department
dedicated to this great magazine. For more issues,
try having a look through our entire
Saturday Evening Post Magazine department.
On the left is a 1950's
pattern from Butterick for a dress with button trim and
detachable cuffs. You can begin browsing our entire
stock in our
Sewing Patterns department. Last item on the
right is easily the most magnificent cotton seersucker
fabric that we have ever come across. Bold, vivid
colors light up a floral bouquet on a striking pale pink
background. This can be found in our
Cotton Yardage department.

February 1st, 2008 Update

Nearly 250 items added in January! To see them
all, click on the link at the top of the page. To
start off our update, on the left is an old
Official Road Map of New Mexico from 1936 with
Native American artwork by Willard Harold Andres.
We were lucky enough to run across a few of these maps,
all in very good condition, but the one shown above
particularly stood out. Next is just one selection
of the magnificent batch of cotton fabric that Stephani
has listed lately. This piece is a
38" Vintage Decorator Fabric and is as vivid as it
is unique! Right in the middle we have the feature
of the latest batch of sewing patterns listed recently.
This is a pattern for
1900's Girl's Dress in Two Styles, and is absolutely
adorable. Several patterns listed in January,
dating from the 1800's to the 1970's. Next is a
vintage
Saturday Evening Post Magazine from 1944 with a
charming cover of a boy enviously looking out at his
friends while he's stuck at home with the mumps.
Last on the top row is another vintage road map, this
one being a very scarce
White Rose En-Ar-Co Road Map of North & South Dakota
from 1939.
On the bottom row, we start off with a colorful
Tourist Souvenir Album from Doubleday's Rodeo, 1949.
Numerous souvenir albums (or folders) added lately.
Next is one of the selections of quilting weight cottons
added in January. This piece being a
36" Bright Rose & Mustard-Yellow Stripes and is just
wonderful! Then we have one of several needlework
and craft booklets that Stephani has added. This
one is titled
Clarks Book No. 218, EDGINGS, 100 Old and New Favorites
from 1945. Now we couldn't possibly do a February
update without something from St. Valentine's Day, could
we? Rounding our update off is a
Valentine's Day Postcard made in Germany, with
brilliant artwork of Cupid delivering the mail, toting a
cart full of "hearts".
Be sure and keep an eye on our updates coming up, as
February is going to be a busy month!

On the left we have an adorable
Vintage Reversible Apron with daisy print cotton and
sheer nylon. This is a "must see" apron! The
colorful magazine in the middle is a
Saturday Evening Post from 1941. The cover has
several insignias from WWII Army Air Force and Navy
squadrons. On the right is a very nice
Vintage Redwork Embroidered Tablecloth - true turkey
red embroidery and in fine condition.

On the left is a vivid
cotton print table cloth in blue floral. With
so many of these old print tablecloths going to the
chopping block (literally!), it's always a treat to come
across those which are intact and in very good
condition. In the middle is an old
McCall's Magazine from 1920. You won't find
many of these issues around, and the artwork,
advertising and the content is second to none -
essential period paper! On the right are
vintage doe, fawn and birds embroidery transfers.
We have a very good stock of vintage transfers, so if
you haven't stopped in for a while, do have a look!

On the left is
Vintage Collier's Magazine from 1916. This
particular issue has artwork by N.C. Wyeth and
literature by H.G. Wells. Next is another vintage
apron - this one being a
Fancy Ruffled Pinafore Apron for girls. The
Christmas bells, ribbon and holly postcard you see
is signed Ellen Clapsaddle and made in Germany. 'Tis
the season! Last we have an
Art Deco Embroidered & Crocheted Vanity Scarf Set -
lovely period fancywork!

September 23rd, 2007 Update
It's been a month and a half since we've posted
highlights from the last update, so this one is rather
large. To start off, we have an absolutely
adorable
Vintage Bonnet Belle & Parasol Apron. They
don't get much cuter than this! That's just one of
several vintage aprons added recently, so be sure to
check out the entire department. Next is great
pattern from the 1940's - a
Day Dress & Feminine Peplum Jacket. Classic
40's lines! Click on the picture to see our entire
stock of 1940's patterns. On the right, we have a
fabulous example of vintage fabric - a
Bright Floral on Blue fabric, which is found in our
quilting prints department.
To start off the second row, we have another fine
vintage sewing pattern. This is a
1950's Slim Princess-Seamed Lined Suit, and has
fabulous form! Next is a small sample of the many
cards and lots of vintage buttons added recently.
These are
Vintage Blue Swirl Buttons measuring 7/8" and have
somewhat of a pinwheel design.. Then we have a
charming
Fancy Antique Bib Apron with Lace Trim. Wait
'til you see the close up of the print! Last on
this row are great "Days of the Week"
vintage transfers with Dottie the Duck. For
those who prefer to do their own "fancywork", we have
scores of embroidery transfers - just click on the
picture above to view the entire department.

This row starts off with a great
1950's needlework book titled Edgings, featuring
crochet, tatting and hairpin lace. This is just
one of many books found in our needlework and craft
patterns department. Quintessential to the
fancywork-lover's kitchen are crocheted hot pads and
potholders, and in the middle is just one of several
crocheted cotton hot pads recently added. This is
a cheerful
crocheted hot pad with cream, pink and green,
complete with a Bakelite hanging ring. To round
off the textiles and sewing update we have a lovely
1930's Floor-Length Dress or Nightgown in 3 Styles
Sewing Pattern - simply charming!
To start off with our highlights for the vintage paper &
ephemera update we have one heck of a find! On the
top left is
a
1910 National Cloak & Suit Catalog with the entire
mailing contents, including the coupons. This was
found complete with the mailing envelope and was not
only intact, but in excellent condition. Some
wonderful fashion illustrations are found inside!
This item can be found in our Advertising department.
In the middle is a classic
Saturday Evening Post issue from 1941. This
magazine features a cover that is priceless - a store
clerk overwhelmed by returns after the holidays!
We have an entire category dedicated to Saturday Evening
Post Magazine - click on the picture to have a look.
On the right is a scarce copy of the
Elks Carnival March - sheet music from 1907 and is
truly a rare find. All of our sheet music is
arranged by decade, which makes for fun browsing!

You won't find more vivid graphics than on this
1919 sheet music titled "I'm Not Jealous (But I Just
Don't Like It)". One of numerous titles added
to our sheet music categories lately. In the
middle is a rare find and an interesting piece for the
antique tractor buff. This is a
Circa 1930 Huber Tractor advertising book, fully
illustrated. To cap off our update we have a
cute children's book from
1943 - Picture Sounding Rhymes. Fabulous color and
illustrations throughout!

August 9th, 2007 Update
Beginning on the left is a great
1940's day dress sewing pattern, this one having a
softly pleated skirt. Next, is one of several
vintage children's books added recently. The
classic tale,
The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse from 1942... no
vintage collection is complete without it! On the
right is one of many needlework booklets added recently.
This one, titled
Crochet Charm with DMC Cottons, from 1950, has some
fantastic patterns!
Starting the second row, we
have a lovely
John Winsch New Year Postcard, one of several
postcards added in the past few weeks. Next is a
scarce and wonderful
"Aloha Land" sheet music from 1916... one of many
different titles of vintage sheet music added lately,
with many more to come. And finally, we have a
great issue of
Woman's Home Companion from December 1929.
This issue has some great illustrations by N.C.
Wyeth.
Many more vintage items being added presently, with more
sheet music, patterns and vintage aprons to come!

July 8th Update
On the left, we have a fantastic
Pinocchio Valentine from 1939. This is an
uncommon example of a vintage Valentine - one that has
been just lightly used. The stand-up tab has never
been unfolded to allow for display! In the middle
is a rare magazine -
1948 WIBW Roundup with Hopalong Cassidy on the
cover. On the right is one of the great patterns
from the 1950's recently added. This one is for a
1950's sleeveless blouse, skirt and jacket.

Starting the second row, on
the left is a fabulous
vintage smock apron with button trim. This one
is really cute! Next is another rarity - a
signed oil print by Annette Honeywell. Vivid
colors! Follow the photo link above to have a look
at our artwork category. On the right we have a
1920's Postcard with a Swastika (good luck) symbol.
Just one of many postcards added lately.

June 4th Update
Our update for June 4th includes lots of paper
goodies... some rarities and colorful bits of pulp and
cellulose to tickle anyone with a hankerin' for
ephemera! Starting on the left, we have a
wonderful
1940 Picture Play magazine, this one featuring Myrna
Loy - great cover photo! Next is a rare
rural letter carrier holiday greeting card from 1914,
and in great condition! Then we have a fabulous
example of a
1933 Texaco road map of California & Nevada.
On the right is a nice children's coloring book titled
"Hopalong Cassidy and the Abandoned Mine", in unused
condition.

On the left is a very cute
Christmas postcard from 1908 - an adorable rendition
of a girl "walking" her cat - printed in Germany with
vivid colors and in very good condition. On the
right is an
ink blotter from B.F. Goodrich, 1944 - complete with
a posing pinup!

On the left is a wonderful example of a
Little Black Sambo cloth-like book, dated 1942.
Fantastic color and in very good to excellent condition!
In the middle is a very nice
tourist souvenir picture album from Pilgrim Plymouth
in fine condition. Undated, but probably from
around 1950. On the right is a
Collier's Magazine from 1916 featuring some big
names like Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, and
illustrations from Convers Wyeth.

We can't possibly list every item we have on the web
site. We try to get to items as fast as they come
in, but without a small army of robots entering data and
snapping photos, this battle will go on. So, if
you don't see what you're looking for, please drop us a

we can either get it for you, or put you in touch with
