Surface Wear: heavy in spots on the cover, otherwise mild to moderate
Soiling: obvious soiling/staining to cover with pencil marks
Spine Separations: staples are corroded, cover has nearly separated, but binding is holding together fine
Tearing: minor tearing only
Other: slight musty odor
