Unique Vintage Feed Sack Cotton Bib Apron with Flounce
Vintage Feed Sack Cotton Bib Apron with Flounce
Very unique design, possibly an original invention of the maker. I've seen patterns from the 1930s which are similar, but none which use this type of shoulder straps that tie in front.
There are two patches on the shoulder straps, both made with the same fabric, and just as bright as the original, so I believe they are original to the apron. There is a tiny edge tear in one strap right next to a patch.
Possibly unused. Other than what has already been mentioned, I've found no signs of wear or use whatsoever, it does not appear to have ever been laundered either. There is some slight dust soiling here and there, but no stains or damages.
Usually I measure bib aprons from the shoulders to the hem for the "length", but in this case I have measured from the center-front point to the hemline, then added the length of the shoulder straps.
Length 30 3/4
Waist 24
Waist Ties 21
Shoulder Straps 42
Pockets 2
